HEZRON FINDS A HIT

April 23, 2011 Kingston, Jamaica:- Hezron’s hit song Forever and Always on the Whatage Music Label has been getting a lot of traction lately. The song is currently number one on the Jamaica Music Countdown and is a contender on the Fiwi Choice Top Ten on TVJ. Coupled with that there is also buzz on ethnic radio stations stateside and online which is pushing the song to higher heights.
Hezron just recently shot the video for his latest track calledTwo Places featuring Shaggy, The video which was premiered on TVJ’s Intense last Saturday has received good reviews and is expected to do well.
The artiste is also slated to perform on several high profile shows this month locally including: Live on the Waterfront in Montego Bay, Western Consciousness in Westmoreland and the Jamaica International Kite Festival in St Ann. With all these achievements the artiste is clearly on a path to success this year.
Since his return to Jamaica three years ago, Hezron has been locking the stage show circuit in Jamaica, delivering one captivating performance after another. The artiste has performed on numerous stages including Capelton’s St. Mary Mi Come From in 2009, Reggae Sumfest in July 2009 and 2010 and Hennessey Artistry in Barbados in 2010. The artiste has been a regular on the local and regional entertainment calendar, making his mark and impressing massive audiences while giving them their money’s worth.
Hezron is obviously happy with his recent successes and says that’s the recognition he has gotten so far reinforces his feeling that the music he sings will continuously be relevant: “I am a reggae singer and I am happy that the people like my music and are drawn to my songs despite the numerous other songs out there. Reggae music is seeing a recovery in Jamaica recently with artistes such as Queen Ifrika and Romain Virgo leading the charge and I am happy to be a part of that movement”.
The reggae crooner who is currently working on his debut album, which is yet to be titled, has been busy in the studio working on tracks for the album. Expect more from this artiste for the rest of the year as he helps to lead a resurgence in reggae music.
